Do I need a valid driving licence?
Yes. An original, valid two-wheeler driving license (or digital DigiLocker / mParivahan verification) is mandatory before vehicle handover. Learner permits are not accepted as per local transport regulations.
Is a helmet provided with the rental?
Yes. An ISI-marked rider helmet is provided complimentary with every bike and scooter rental. An additional pillion helmet is available upon request for a nominal charge.
Is there a security deposit?
No. We believe in trust and keeping your travel budget accessible. We do not charge a cash security deposit. You simply provide original ID proof and a valid driving license.
How does fuel work?
Vehicles are handed over with sufficient fuel to reach the nearest fuel station in Tallital / Mallital. You return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received. Fuel costs are borne by the rider.
What happens if I return the bike late?
Please inform us at least 2 hours in advance via WhatsApp if you anticipate a delay. Minor grace periods are accommodated when possible, while extended delays are charged at standard hourly or daily rates.
What documents are required to book?
You need to submit: 1) Original Driving License, and 2) Government ID Proof (Aadhar Card, Passport, or Voter ID). The booking process takes less than 5 minutes.
Is the rental available 24 hours?
Yes. Bike on Rent Nainital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can pick up or return your vehicle at any time of the day or night.
Can I rent a bike for just one day?
Yes. All our bikes and scooters are available for single-day rental. Prices start at ₹599/day for scooters and ₹899/day for bikes. Multi-day rentals are also available.
